Words of Wisdom, Life-Changing Insights & Inspiring Teachings for A Fuller Life
About this blog
Scent of Dawn is devoted to those great authors, thinkers and visionaries whose life-changing insights and inspiring teachings have taught, guided and enlightened me along my path, giving me the strength to cope with my daily struggles and offering me generous spiritual sustenance in times of need. I created this an inspirational blog with sorrow in my heart, but also with hope:
Sorrow - because many of these authors seemed to have sunk into oblivion and, even though some of them are still quoted nowadays, few people take the trouble to go directly to their work and make the commitment to read it.
Hope - because I deeply believe those who seek will find and that God can use this blog to point people to those timeless resources of genius and inspiration wherein lie hidden some of his most precious treasures of wisdom and love.
My deep hope is that the words of wisdom quoted in this blog will enrich your spirit and your mind and inspire you to live a fuller life, sharing in the wonders God has prepared for those who are brave and humble enough to open their hearts to the Truth and let it change their lives. I also hope that you will feel motivated to turn to the authors and books I mention as to a spring of inspiration that can offer you so much more.
A quote, an excerpt from a book is nothing but a cup of water taken from a stream. If a cup of water can quench your thirst, how much more the whole stream will do! And the spring of all is our Heavenly Father, to whom we pray in the Lord's Prayer, from whom all goodness comes and who can use every opportunity to bring good fruit in our lives.
God bless you!!
